연구 목적 :

본 연구는 외국인 유학생들의 의료보험 의무 가입안(국민건강보험 의무 가입 혹은 민간의료보험 의무 가입)과 그에 따른 장단점을 제시하고, 의료보험 가입을 국민건강보험으로 제한할 경우의 적정 보험료를 도출하고자 합니다.    

참여자 선정조건 : 성인(만 18세 이상), 국내 고등교육기관(이는 전문대학, 일반대학 및 대학원을 의미함)에 재학 중인 외국인 또는 재외국민 대상입니다.

참여 내용 : 연구 참여를 결정한 외국인 유학생(외국인 또는 재외국민)은 인구 사회학적 특성, 월 평균 의료비 지출, 의료보험 가입 현황, 보험료 지불 의사 및 지불의사액 등의 변인으로 구성된 자가 보고식 설문을 작성하게 되며, 소요 시간은 약 10분~15분 입니다.

참여기간 및 장소

1) 기간 : 2020.6.16.~2020.6.29.

2) 장소 : 온라인 설문

참여 시 사례 : 설문을 빠짐없이 작성한 연구 참여자에 한하여 추첨을 통해 총 140명에게 1인당 GS25 10,000원 기프티콘을 제공합니다.

참여 방법 : 이 설문은 자발적으로 참여에 동의하시는 유학생들에 한하여 조사될 것이며, 아래 온라인 설문 링크를 클릭하시면 참여에 동의하신 것으로 간주하여 설문이 시작됩니다. 귀하는 언제라도 원하지 않을 경우 중간에 설문을 그만 둘 수 있으며, 이에 따른 불이익은 없습니다. 그만두는 경우 귀하의 응답 자료와 개인 정보는 즉시 폐기됩니다. 코딩된 설문 응답 자료는 서울대학교 연구윤리 지침에 따라 접근 암호를 설정한 뒤 5년 동안 보관할 예정입니다. 통계작성을 위하여 수집된 자료는 통계법 제 33조에 따라 통계작성 외 목적으로는 사용될 수 없으며 응답자의 응답 및 개인정보는 엄격히 보호될 것입니다. 본 연구에서 수집된 개인정보(성별, 나이(출생연도), 국적, 핸드폰 번호)는 타 연구자 또는 기관에 제공되지 않습니다.

Purpose:

the aim of this study is to suggest the advantages and disadvantages of mandatory (national or private) health insurance subscription requirement initiative for international students and estimate an adequate cost assuming National Health Insurance scheme as the only option.

Inclusion Criteria: Adult (over 18 years old), International or overseas Korean students who are attending higher educational institutions (college, university or graduate school) in Korea.

Content: International students (foreigners and overseas Koreans) who agreed to enroll in this study will complete a 10~15 minute self-questionnaire constructed on such variables as socio-demographic characteristics, average monthly medical expenses, health insurance enrollment status, willingness to pay insurance premiums and willing amount.

Period and Setting:

1) Period: Within 21 days after the IRB approval date

2) Setting: online survey

Benefit: 140 students out of the total participants who have fully completed the questionnaire will be drawn through a raffle and compensated with GS25 10,000 KRW coupon per person.

Participation method: This survey will only be conducted for international students who voluntarily agree to participate. By clicking on the online survey link below, the survey will be considered as if you agree to participate. You can quit the questionnaire in the middle of the process if you don't want to participate at any time and there will be no penalties. If you quit, your response and personal information will be disposed immediately. The coded questionnaire response data will be managed solely under password for 5 years according to the Seoul National University IRB Guidelines. Data collected for statistical purposes cannot be used for purposes other than its original purposes by Article 33 of the Statistical Law, and responses and personal information will be strictly protected. Personal information collected in this study(gender, age (year of birth), nationality, mobile phone number) will not be provided to other researchers or organizations.
